Tom Billy’s is a fantastic reel with great drive. The tune is named after Tom Billy Murphy (1879-1944) a blind Irish fiddler and music teacher on the Cork and Kerry border. He was a mojor influence on music in the area and we can presume he either wrote, or frequently played this tune!
